Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with CAD expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python-based development, AI/ML technologies, and 3D/CAD systems. This role involves building intelligent solutions that integrate machine learning, computer vision, CAD data processing, and scientific computing to solve complex engineering and business challenges.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement AI/ML solutions using Python and modern machine learning frameworks.
• Work with Vision Language Models (VLMs) and agent-based frameworks to build intelligent automation solutions.
• Develop and maintain applications involving 3D geometry processing, CAD data analysis, and visualization.
• Utilize FreeCAD, OpenCASCADE, and Open3D for CAD model manipulation and processing.
• Build data pipelines, predictive models, and analytical solutions using scientific computing libraries.
• Develop APIs and backend services using FastAPI, Uvicorn, and Pydantic.
• Create interactive dashboards and visualization tools using Streamlit, Plotly, Pandas, and related technologies.
• Process and manage engineering file formats such as STEP, STL, PLY, and CSV.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, product teams, and domain experts to deliver innovative solutions.
• Implement containerized and cloud-ready applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Ensure code quality through automated testing, continuous integration, and development best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 6+ years of total IT experience with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Science, AI/ML, or CAD-related development.
• Strong proficiency in Python 3.12+.
• Experience with Vision Language Models (VLMs), Gemini VLM, and AI Agent Frameworks such as LangChain.
• Hands-on experience with FreeCAD, OpenCASCADE, and Open3D.
• Strong knowledge of scientific computing libraries including SciPy, scikit-learn, and NumPy.
• Experience building REST APIs using FastAPI, Uvicorn, and Pydantic.
• Proficiency in data visualization and UI development using Streamlit, Plotly, and Pandas.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for deployment and orchestration.
• Familiarity with build and testing tools such as uv, Make, and pytest.
• Experience working with CAD and 3D file formats including STEP, STL, PLY, and CSV.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
