We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of safe and cost-effective physical structures. The role involves preparing structural designs, estimating materials and budgets, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project delivery that meets client requirements and regulatory standards.
• Review construction plans and prepare quantity and material requirement estimates.
• Define, record, and maintain project brief information and design input requirements from clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design teams across multiple sectors to develop solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.
• Prepare feasibility studies and structural/civil engineering strategy documents.
• Advise managers and clients on design improvements, innovations, and alternative strategies.
• Develop detailed structural designs, construction details, specifications, schedules, and calculations for projects.
• Communicate design solutions effectively to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Promote innovative and creative engineering solutions within the project team.
• Analyze environmental and human-induced loads and pressures on structures.
• Select appropriate construction materials based on structural requirements and specifications.
• Obtain necessary planning and building regulation approvals.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare and allocate project budgets and track ongoing costs.
• Monitor project progress and deliver regular status reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar structural engineering role.
• Strong technical proficiency in Tekla, AutoCAD, and STAAD Pro.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good communication, teamwork, and coordination abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
